Hon Kore Notes,”Well said @ahmednasirlaw … what you did not say is the fact that you are also a legal practitioner who has raised the bar so high in terms of the numerous legal battles you have fought that have also contributed a lot to the whole body of legal practice in Kenya and beyond. We are also extremely proud that you are a son of Mandera where you grew up during your formative years…You are bold, truthful, fearless and controversial where controversy becomes inevitable. You have never shied away from picking battles where battles need to be fought. The principles you stand for and defend vehemently, have earned you both friends and foes in equal measure…”
Earlier, The grand mullah had noted,
“Great job Madam CJ for opening the High Court Registry in Mandera (A serious CJ would have invited me to accompany her to my home town and acknowledge me as being the First Somali from NEP admitted as Advocate ofthe High Court, conferred SC title, former Chairman of Law Society, former member of the JSC…etc). Mandera, Wajir, Maralal and Lamu are 4 out of 47 counties that do not have High Courts. Access to justice for historically marginalised ethnic communities should be prioritised by the CJ and the JSC. CJ should be congratulated for taking the final step to ensure these 4 counties will have a High Court.”
