President William Ruto took a bold step toward fostering national unity and advancing infrastructure development during a recent event in Embu County.

The President, emphasizing his commitment to inclusiveness, highlighted his administration’s efforts to bridge political divides by integrating opposition figures into a unified government.

At the heart of the event, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, who chairs the budget committee, announced significant financial commitments aimed at boosting Kenya’s agricultural sector and providing economic relief. The budget includes Ksh 7.5 billion for fertilizers to enhance crop productivity, Ksh 1.5 billion to stabilize milk prices, Ksh 3 billion for the Coffee Cherry Fund, and Ksh 2 billion to clear farmer debts.

The launch also marked the beginning of crucial infrastructure upgrades, including enhancements to electricity, water services, and market facilities. These developments are designed to support local economic activities and improve public services.

Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire praised the new market facilities, calling them a vital economic asset for Embu and neighboring areas. She highlighted their role in fostering economic growth and strengthening community bonds.
