Mandago Meets Netherlands Ambassador
Netherlands ambassador to Kenya H.E. Maarten Brouwer has assured that his countries commitment to support Kenya have a stable and fair election next year.
Speaking in Eldoret during a meeting on possible collaboration with Uasin Gishu County, he said their role is to observe what is happening before the election and offer the support if needed.He added that his country’s wish is to see peace.
On his part,Governor Jackson Mandago assured the nation that Uasin Gishu county is and will remain stable, peaceful and cohesive.
Mandago said that the close collaborations between the county and the national government has helped enhance cohesion and unity among the residents.
Mandago affirmed that he is confident that the region will remain peaceful even after the 2022 general elections.
“County Governments and devolution has contributed immensely to the stability of the country, charactized by the equitable distribution of resources, the resources have reached to the farthest points of the country and brought significant change to people ” he noted.
