Mandago has a Right to Vie For the Senatorial Seat- Former Huruma Ward Aspirant Peter Kinuthia
Peter Kinuthia alias God is Able has hit at those against governor Jackson Mandago vying for the Senatorial Seat come 2022.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Kinuthia said governor Jackson Mandago has the right to vie for any political seat.
“It is sad that some former Huruma Ward aspirants are going round saying that governor Mandago cannot be elected governor, let me tell you young people the constitution allows him to vie for any political seat and residents are the ones who will decide whether to vote for him or not,” said Kinuthia while speaking to the press.
This comes a day after a section of the Minority community living in Uasin Gishu led by  Kimani Wakili Wanjohirubbished the 2022 senatorial bid by Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mnadago saying he should retire just like other second-term governors.
He further rubbished their claims that governor Mandago is frustrating hawkers working in Eldoret town.
“It’s sad that the leaders are attacking governor Mandago saying he is mistreating hawkers yet I can attest that he has good plans for them, as I am talking plans are underway to give hawkers the backstreets to continue with their business. Mandago should be respected since he has doner allot,” he said.
He noted that the leaders should slow down since the governor can work even better while he is a senator.
Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi recently also rubbished his bid saying he should go for National politics.
But governor Mandag has stayed put saying he will go for the seat no matter what.
