Youths from Riftvalley have been urged to register as voters.

According to David Maina National Chairman of Vijana na Kazi UDA, this will ensure that they participate meaningfully in the forthcoming general elections.

“I want to call upon youths who are above eighteen years old to get identity cards and thereafter register as voters. The only way our generation can bring change to this country is by practising our democratic right to voting for leaders of our choice,” said Vijana na Kazi UDA National Chairman while speaking to the press.

Maina further called on youths to go for elective  seats saying its time for youth leadership.

“I want to call upon youths, people with disability and women to competitively seek elective posts. All political parties must ensure that nominations are free, fair and transparent especially for the disabled.” he advised .

Maina appealed to Kenyans to vote for the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto come 2022.

“I urge Kenyans across all divides to support the Deputy President William Ruto in the coming general elections. William Ruto has distinguished himself as the only leader putting the country’s interests before politics, and he has the right policies to transform the economy and create jobs for millions of unemployed youths.” he said.

“Youths should also not allow themselves to be used by politicians to cause violence but instead shy away from such leaders since their aim is to destroy their future,” Maina advised.

UDA Vijana na Kazi  National chairman urged Kenyans to register as UDA party members which will help the deputy president William Samoei Ruto to be Kenya’s next president.

He challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to honour his promise where he  said he will serve for ten years and his deputy ten years.
