Man says his wife left him for being an adverse alcoholic but after doing this his addiction was over and his wife was back
A 38-year-old man from Nairobi going by the name Barrack elicited his social media friends
after he shared his story on how he had been to too much alcohol taking. He wrote the
condition made him lose his job and other important things in his life. With behavior his wife
left him after she told him that she was not able to live with an alcoholic man and now he had
lost his job due to this habit. After his wife left, he says he tried everything to ensure he
abandoned the habit but since he was a serious addict, a new alcohol-free life was difficult.
"I sold all my valuables things in my house. Starting from expensive electronics to my clothes. I
had nothing to wear as I had been selling m clothes to satisfy my alcoholism thirst. No one
wanted me especially people from my family keeping in mind I had been sacked due to my
behavior and now I had nothing to offer them, " he said.
He lived like a street boy for a while with no home since he could not afford to pay rent arrears.
He would eat from the dump sites and sleep in roads and streets especially in stationary and
spoilt vehicles.
A friend happened to spot him and welcomed him to his home. Still at this time still he needed
