Langas Ward MCA Welcomes DP Ruto As He Will Be Visiting His Ward Tomorrow
Uasin Gishu Jubilee Party chairman and Langas MCA Francis Muya Mwangi has welcomed the deputy president William Ruto in his ward for a church function.
Ruto who is also the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate is expected this Sunday to hold funds drive at PCEA Church in Langas, Kapseret Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.
“Tomorrow Sunday we are having visitors led by Kenya kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and other leaders coming to Langas Uasin Gishu County. I want to officially welcome him and if you don’t support him don’t go to his meeting to cause violence,” said Muya while speaking to the press.
Uasin Gishu is the home to the deputy president William Ruto who has declared his interest in the presidency in the forthcoming general elections.
“As a leader who loves peace I want to say without fear of contradiction that the deputy president is coming home but all those with bad intentions that Ruto is coming to condemn his son Muya its not the case he has been my deputy party leader of Jubilee and we respect each other,” he added.
“We will not allow leaders to be it my governor Jackson Mandago, any governor nominee, Oscar Sudi, and any aspirant to use the function to divide Kenyans based n their political or tribal affiliations
Muya further condemned a section of politicians who are using youths to cause violence and destroy his posters and names that had been written everywhere.
“There some youths who have been given money to destroy my which was made three months ago this is uncalled for and ill-intended. As a leader I want to call upon youths not to be used by leaders to cause violence, lets’s welcome Kenya kwanza leaders, don’t shout at any leader since elections come and go,” he said.
He further said that Langas Ward is Azimio La Umoja ward and no one should be intimidated for supporting opposition leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
“For peace to prevail if you are Kenya kwanza diehard don’t go to Azimio la Umoja function and vice versa this will help to prevent the chaos that has been witnessed in the campaign trail,” Muya said.
