I Will Not be Vying For Any Political Seat-Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua
Machakos governor Alfred Mutua now says he was not vying for any political seat.
This is after his name appeared in IEBC register that he will be vying for the Mwala parliamentary seat.
But through his twitter page he said he will not be vying for any elective seat.
“For avoidance of doubt, I wish to clarify that at this particular time, I am not running for any elective position in the forthcoming elections. I am concentrating on campaigning for the Kenya Kwanza coalition so that Kenya can get a new system where dreams can come true,” the Machakos governor said.
Mutua recently ditched Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja and joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance which is led by the deputy president William Samoei Ruto.
He is now his point man in the ukambani region.
Mutua’s post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.
Lanick Mawira says ” Even Wetangula the 5th dismissed call from Ruto not to vie for any elective position but wait for the National speaker’s position under the thief’s government.Everybody knows that Ruto victory is next to impossible!#,”
Osama says “You decided to join opposition and its good idear you will be assisting mweshimiwa Ruto to put government on toes thank you ,”
Kakkach says “Dr. Alfred Mutua you are campaigning for Kenya Kwanza alliance so that you can become a Minister forget about the hullabaloo of “new systems and dreams”
