Where DP Ruto Will Be Visiting Today in Uasin Gishu
Deputy president William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua will today hold major rallies in Uasin Gishu.
This is in a move to solidify his support in the region in which it’s perceived to be his hometuff.
Ruto will be accompanied by Kenya Kwanza allies who include ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo, Moses Kuria and Machakos governor Alfred Mutua.
Leaders from the Northrift region will also be in attendance.
They will address six political rallies.
Uasin Gishu is the rural home to the deputy president William Samoa Ruto who has declared his interest for the presidency in the August polls.
The rally will kick off at Chembulet, Moibwn them Ziwa.
They will later address their supporters at Maili Nne thereafter Matharu thereafter thye will end their day long campaign at Kesses.
The Kesses legislator who was elected on a Jubilee party ticket will be defending his seat on an independent party ticket.
While in Langas on Sunday Ruto warned residents against electing independent candidates.
Those seeking elective seats on an independent party ticket include gubernatorial aspiraby Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki, Kesses MP Dr Swarup Mishra, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut, Moiben Silas Tiren among others.
