Kenyans Urged to Remain Vigilant Whenever They Come across Opinion Polls
Poll Preparations: The MediaCouncilK has asked Kenyans to remain vigilant whenever they come across opinion polls in view of the upcoming General Election.
MCK Director, Media Training and Development Vicbwire says opinion polls play a critical role in elections.
“While we appreciate the work done by reputable pollsters, it is key for our media to interrogate opinion polls on elections in order to inform the public appropriately”, Vibwire said these at the @IEBCKenya’s session on media framing and opinion polls shaping the electoral process.

Media Council of Kenya Council Member Roselyne Obala was a panellist during the session on the role of the media and opinion polls in election agenda setting where she said the media remains critical in breaking down opinion polls for the ordinary people and called for enhanced professionalism when handling opinion polls.
