Kesses MP Dr Swarup Mishra Donates 100 Cows to his Electorates

Kesses member of parliament Dr Swarup Mishra on Saturday donated 100 cows to needy families in his constituency.

Speaking to the press the Kesses legislator says this will help them earn a living and be self reliant.

“Today I have donated 100 cows to needy families, this will deliver them from poverty and ensure that they are empowered financially,” said the Kesses legislator while speaking to the press.

The testimonials were bold and grand by beneficiaries across Kesses since inception of Hon. Mishra empowerment program from Hon. Mishra Foundation.

Tens of thousand have been empowered by Hon Mishra which include women, people with disabilities and youths among others.

Sharon Chepkemoi one of the beneficiary thanked the Kesses legislator for the nje course.

“I want to thank our able MP for giving me a cow, I have been suffering financially but with this cow I will be able to milk it and get money,” Chepkemoi said.

“I am blind and jobless but with the cow from Dr Mishra I will be able to earn a living and be self reliant, thank you very much Mheshimiwa ,” John Koech says.

Dr Mishra is the first MP to donate cows to his electorates.

He also gave free NHIF to 1000 Elders across Kesses Constituency, Developments Projects Cheques amounting to 54 Million, Bursaries to Students amounting to 32 Million among others.


The Kesses legislator is among the best performing members of parliament.

He will be defending his seat on an independent party ticket and he be facing Julius Ruto on a UDA party ticket.

Dr Mishra also launched his manifesto and score card for his five years in office .
