The List of Nominated MCA’S In Uasin Gishu County Assembly
Uasin Gishu County Assembly received 14 nominated MCA out of which 13 were allocated to the majority party United Democratic Alliance(UDA).
The other position was given to the Jubilee party.
UDA party managed to take 28 MCA’s out of 30 MCA’S to the Uasin Gishu County Assembly while the other two seats went to the Jubilee party.
The 14 nominated MCAs include Wachira James Maina represents the marginalized.
Tirop Belinda Chebichi- Ethnic Minority.
Waiganjo David Waweru- Minority.
Tirop Evelyn Chepkoech- Youths.
Serem Naomi Chepkemboi, Kemboi Roda, Rebecca Jerop, Kiboi Chemtai, Hassan Saida, Aidid Sahra, Kebenei Magrinah, Chelimo Juliet, Chrono Caroline, Mercy Jepkurui were nominated representing gender.
The MCA’s will be sworn into office on Wednesday 1st, 2022 this is after Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii alias Koti Moja gazetteed it.
