Opposition leader Raila Odinga wrote “You were already arguably the best marathoner, and now you’ve taken your domination of the distance notches higher. A great precision run flawlessly executed once more, breaking the world record. Congratulations Eliud Kipchoge. Keep flying our 🇰🇪 high,”
Kipchoge broke his own world record with a winning time of 2:01:08 to win the Berlin marathon.
It’s the second time the Kenyan runner has set the official men’s world record at the race in the German capital.
