Will Finish All stalled projects Started During my First Tenure-Lusaka
Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has vowed to complete all stalled projects started during his first tenure as governor but abandoned by the last regime.
Speaking at AIC Namorio church ,Lusaka pointed out that several projects he had intiated between the year 2013 and 2017 but were abandoned when his predessesor took over.
” I will ensure that I complete all stalled projects both started by myself and the last regime ,” Said lusaka.
He pointed out that first among the projects earmarked include the High altitude centre in Chemoge which had stalled .
” We want to complete the project so that our atheletes can benefit from the same and even attract investors from far and wide ,” Said Lusaka.
The Governor insisted that abandoning projects that were started by previous regimes is a waste of tax payers money .
” Projects are not for politicians but for the common Mwananchi, completing them is value for money,” Lusaka said .
He assured Mt.Elgon residents that he will ensure clean piped water is given to residents .
” Now that all the water comes from this region, we will ensure that we ensure steady supply of water among residents ,” Said Lusaka.
He at the same time assured to open up the road network In the region to ensure that the residents who are majority farmers can transport their produce.
