Cherera Four Must Go Home- Soy MP

Soy member of parliament David Kiplagat now says for Sanity to prevail in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) the Cherera Four must be shown the door.

They include IEBC Deputy Chairperson Juliana Cherera and commissioners Francis Mathenge, Irene Masit, and Justus Nyang’aya who are accused of subverting the will of the people during the August 9 polls.

“To bring sanity to IEBC commission the four opaque commissioners Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang’aya, Francis Wanderi, and Irine Masit have no alternative but to go home,” he said.

The Soy member of parliament said the four nearly plunged this country to its opaque side of history by clandestinely getting out of Bomas and making unfounded allegations in the green lawns of Serena hotel.

“God saved the situation and to close that dark side of history they have to be suspended and finally shown the door. Thank you parliament for playing its role and our President will now perform his constitutional duty to suspend them and form a tribunal on the same,” he added.
