Health CS Pays Courtesy Call to Governor Bii
Health Cabinet Secretary Dr. Susan Nakhumicha paid a copurtesy call to Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii in his office.
Governor Bii reiterated the need to fast track the establishment of the new MTRH Hospital at Kiplombe area set to occupy the 200 acre piece of land.
In her response, the CS agreed to take over the project to its completion even as government works towards providing the needed funds.
“The ministry will fulfill President William Ruto’s plan on the establishment of the referral hospital that will have a 4000 bed capacity and as a County government, we are ready to offer the much needed support,” he said.
The new referral hospital is set to be a game changer in our County and beyond our borders in provision of primary and quality health care.
Governor Bii said that the company is glad that the ministry is keen on taking in additional staff to health facilities as one way of meeting the staff to patient ratio in terms of employment and partnering with us.
