Deputy Governor Hosts Delegation From R.E.A.L Company
Deputy Governor Ayub Savula toured the state of the art upcoming Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital (KCTRH) together with a delegation from R.E.A.L Group led by the Executive Chairman Mr. Raju Sanghani, where the latter expressed interest of being brought on board as private partners to collaborate with the County and National Governments towards completion and operationalization of Phase One of the multi-million health facility.
The visit by the R.E.A.L Company team comes at a time when the County Government is need of partners to operationalise Phase One of the 750 bed capacity facility which is expected to enhance medical services not only in the County but the entire Western region in line with H.E Governor Fernandes Barasa’s agenda on Health, Hygiene and Sanitation.
Upon completion, the facility will also serve as a training centre for medical students from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) and other institutions of higher learning in the medical field.
The DG was accompanied by the County Executive Committee Member for Health Services Dr. Benard Wesonga.
