We Will Not Dialogue With Raila Odinga- DP Rigathi Gachagua
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua now says president William Ruto will not dialogue with the opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking in Uasin Gishu County after he flagged off food donations to areas affected by hunger Gachagua said that will not happen whatsoever.
“The ‘Mzee of Maandamano’ has started again his demonstrations and church leaders are pushing us to have a dialogue with him, we have said it not once or twice that this is not possible,” said the deputy president.
“We cannot have a dialogue with a criminal since held demonstrations and property of Kenyans worth Millions was destroyed. We cannot dialogue even if we are pushed by the church leaders, what they should do are pray for him.
Gachagua said Odinga is fond of selling fear to lawfully elected presidents after he loses elections.
“He sold fear to Moi in 1997, he did the same to Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta. The conversation we might have with Raila is to tell us when they will return the stolen money, but sitting down with a criminal for us to share the government that won’t happen,” he said.
“William Ruto is not a coward because he was brought up in hardship life, not like the cerelac president we had. I instead urge the church leaders to talk to Raila Odinga so that there will be peace since he is the cause of violence,” he said.
