Implement economic resolutions passed by the lake region Governors
Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on president William Ruto to ensure he implements economic resolutions passed by the lake region Governors.
Speaking during interfaith prayers held in Busia county, Lusaka said implementing the resolutions was one way of fixing the region’s economy.
Lusaka further called on the President to ensure he fixes the ailing economy of the country.
” You have the capacity to fix the economy of this country, we will give you the necessary support to ensure this is achieved ,” Said Lusaka.
The governor at the same time rebuked leaders who were calling for secession of the country saying they should instead call for the unity of the state.
” Let leaders be careful with the words they utter in public because one word thrown carelessly might throw this country into turmoil,” Said Lusaka.
