Governor Bii Plants 55 Trees to Mark his 55th Birthday
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii has planted 55 trees to mark his 55th birthday.
“I have this afternoon accepted the challenge presented by our champions, Eliud Kipchoge and Faith Kipyegon , to plant 55 trees during this momentous birthday celebration at the Eldoret Arboretum, ” he said.
He was joined by County’s first lady, Her Excellency Selina Bii, and other County officials.
“My unwavering commitment to this challenge not only serves as an inspiration but also stands as a collective reminder of the pressing need to take decisive action in safeguarding our planet, ” he said.
” As we carefully place each tree into the earth, we contribute to the purification of our air, the enrichment of biodiversity, and the creation of a legacy for the generations that will follow, ” he added.
