DP Gachagua Flags Off Subsidized Fertilizers in Nandi County
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua flagged off subsidized fertilizers at Kobujoi National Cereals and Produce Board Depot in Aldai, Nandi County,
He assured farmers of better prices because they faithfully responded to our call and planted maize in thousands of acres this year.
“We are acquiring enough maize dryers for farmers to easily get access to them once they harvest the maize. This will help cut any possible post-harvest losses, ” he said
He noted that the Government has fully prepared to purchase the grains for our strategic reserves.
” We will continue distributing subsidized fertilizer to sustain high production as witnessed this year as we register more farmers, ” he added..
