If money means everything to you, it's because you don't have enough of it

If you want money so badly such that for the sake of it, you will suspend your dignity, compromise your values, and betray trust bestowed on you – then it means that either you don’t belive you can get it for yourself or you’re trauma bonded to it. Perhaps from a past experience of lack, or just unreasonable greed and lack of contentment.

If a person who has a lot of money gives it, they’re not performing an act of sacrifice. It’s like a mango tree dropping a mango. That’s just its nature. But if you’re so needy for money, this kind of person can control you at will with very little effort. They don’t care about you in any real sense. They just discovered your weakness with money, and they can use it as a remote control to use you for their own entertainment.

Systemic slavery died, but personal slavery to money never died. You make yourself a slave when you’re ruled by greed for illicit money. You make yourself an easy prey for those who have plenty of it. They will give you money but never care about you. You’ll just be a hired slave. They won’t bother with how you’re doing or what you’re feeling.

When a person cares about you, they want to help you to self actualize and heppy. They help you achieve your dreams and overcome your problems. But you see, these kinds of people are found on a certain level of growth. You have to attain that level of thinking yourself before you can attract them.

Yet today, so many young people think they can make money through illicit affairs. Nobody can give you enough money to make you wealthy. The very fact that you engage them in that way means they can not respect you enough to pour into you. They’ll just give you enough to gain access to your life and use you.

The only way out is an honest self-actualization. You can dream big but still remain committed to getting there through the right way. You understand that the process and the product are tied together. If you cut the process, you won’t manage the product even if you get it. You need a kind of mental transformation that the process takes you through in order to excel at the place the process takes you.
