Kenco Joins Voice Against Tobacco Use

KENCO led by the able Executive Director Christine Mugo-Sitati, decried the evolution of modern novel tobacco products like oral nicotine pouches, electronic cigarettes and vapes which are all creating a new generation of addicts.
“Tobacco use is a leading cause of various diseases including cancer, respiratory diseases and heart diseases. These diseases not only compromise the quality of life of individuals but also exert immense pressure on healthcare systems, diverting resources that could otherwise be invested in Preventive healthcare and development initiatives,” Christine Mugo-Sitati noted
