President William Ruto has congratulated Malkia Strikers for winning the 2023 Africa Women’s Volleyball
“Congratulations Malkia Strikers, the winners of the 2023 Africa Women’s Volleyball Championship. After eight years, your grit, hard work, resolve, and never-say-die spirit have brought the title back to Kenya. We celebrate you and we are proud of you,” he said.
The Malkia Strikers beat Egypt in straight sets in the Women’s African Volleyball Championship has been ongoing in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The Kenyan queens clinched the coveted trophy in straight sets of 25-22, 25-20, 25-14. It’s their 10th continental title.
