Governor Bii’s Administration Escalate Crackdown on Illicit Brew
In an intelligence -led raid special mult- agency crew drawn from the national police service, County enforcement officers and the liquor department combed maize farmstead,forest and all Chang’aa caves in Turbo Sub County areas incorporate; Kamagut centre Ainapngetik village,Tumaini Sokchot,Jua kali, and later in the nightfall vumilia c village in soy sub county.
They managed to set up and eradicated several plastic containers with over 3,000 litres buried underground and confiscated over 80 litres of chang’aa.
The containers concealed underground had raw brew locally established as kangara that would eventually be used to brew chang’aa.
County Director of Alcoholic Drinks and Licensing Board Koiya Arap Maiyo restated that Alcohol and other illicit substance robs youthful people, their families and society their lives and potential , he thus exhorted the public to refrain from using relatively work with local administration and other agencies in sharing convenient input, saying war on illicit brew will only be entirely obliterated with jointly efforts.
He further declared that those who will be found will encounter the full force of the law.
