Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki is a good leader.

“ELATED BAHATI NG-CDF SPONSORED STUDENTS HAIL HON. NJOKI AS THEY JOIN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

Over 500 students from Bahati Constituency who received sponsorship from the NG-CDF have officially joined tertiary institutions of their choice in Bahati.

The students expressed their gratitude to Hon. Mrembo Irene Njoki for her efforts in improving the lives of youth in the constituency through education.

The students joined three technical institutions; Vera Technical Training College, Heroes Technical Training College, and Rift Valley institute of business studies which are offering plumbing, electrical installation, tailoring, computer skills, among others.

One of the beneficiaries, Jane Mwende, said that the free courses would go a long way in empowering her to start her own tailoring business and become self-reliant. “I am very grateful to Hon Irene Njoki for giving us this opportunity,” she said.

The Bahati MP, who has been advocating for youth empowerment, said that the free courses will equip the youth with the necessary skills to secure jobs or start their own businesses.

“The youth are the future of our nation, and we must invest in them by giving them skills that will help them become productive members of society,” she said.

Hon Irene Njoki also urged other leaders to support youth empowerment initiatives in their respective constituencies. The enrollment exercise was held across the Constituency Social Hall and was attended by students and their parents and guardians.”
