Kwale Woman leader Nimusimu Mwasina has taken a moment to share with us the importance of comprehensive sex education in schools.

The Hon Nimusimu said that information is power and that such a move will go a long way to curb the ever rising cases of teenage pregnancies.

In the same vein the Hon woman leader made the remarks on the sidelines of the World Contraception Day being observed on Tuesday 26th September.

Most of the young girls especially in their teens have been known to be engaging in unprotected sex thereby exposing themselves not just to teen pregnancies but also more dire consequences of contracting sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, STIs and even HPV.
