Biomedical Engineering for NEST360 Embarks on Mentorship program
Eng.Millicent Alooh HSC, the regional director, Biomedical for NEST360 Global and also the Secretary general for the Association of Medical Engineering of Kenya, AMEK, together with her colleague Vincent Ochieng, the Biomedical Engineering training manager for NEST360 Kenya has embarked on mentorship program for biomedical engineering students across Kenya medical training colleges,KMTC, which are supported by NEST360 program.
Part of her mentorship activities involves assessing the biomedical skills lab utilization in these training institutions.
The maintenance will involve planned preventive maintenance technically referred to as PPM, Breakdown maintenance and inventory management amongst others
The biomedical engineering students are currently going through vigorous practical training sessions which prepares them to the maintenance of not only neonatal technologies donated by NEST360 but also other medical equipment in the hospital as well.
