Lands CS Recieves Recommendations For the National Land Policy
The Honorable Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Housing and Urban Planning the Hon. CS Alice Wahome was pleased to receive land policy recommendations from The National Land Commission.
The sharp Hon CS notes,
“These recommendations will form the basis for the review and development of National Land Policy, 2023.
The Sessional Paper No 3 of 2009 on National Land Policy has been in place. It has been guiding the country towards achieving efficient, sustainable and equitable use of land. However, the Policy is a living document that requires review every 10 years to take into account current, emerging and future dynamics in the land sector.
With me in the receiving of the recommendations from NLC led by the chairperson Mr. Gershom Otachi and the Chief Executive Officer NLC Kabale Tache Arelo.
I was accompanied by PS Hon. Nixon Korir in receiving the recommendations from The NLC led by the chairperson Mr. Gershom Otachi, Ms. Kabale Tache Arero – CEO and NLC Commissioners.”
