Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has vowed to ensure fairness and transparency in the recruitment of County Public Service employees.

Speaking at the 60th Jamhuri Day celebrations, he warned against bribery, both for job seekers and those involved in the process.

“I will not tolerate corruption in the County recruitment exercise. Those found guilty will face the consequences,” he declared.

Lusaka acknowledged concerns about unfair practices in the recently advertised Chief Officer positions, but assured the public that the County Public Service Board is committed to meritocratic selection.

“Only qualified candidates will be hired. Don’t believe any rumors,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, Lusaka addressed the ongoing application process for the County Scholarship program, promising fair and transparent selection of deserving beneficiaries.

“This program is designed to support needy and vulnerable students. All applicants will be thoroughly evaluated to ensure that scholarships are awarded to those who truly deserve them,” he said.
