Nominated MP Wainaina Speaks After he was conferred with Honorary Degree
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party Nominated MP Joseph Wainaina was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Leadership, Administration and Management during the Northwest Christian University’s 16th graduation ceremony.
Wainaina was awarded the degree by the American based university’s country director Albert Minoni in a ceremony that was held at Eldoret National Polytechnic ground.
“The accolade serves as a pleasant surprise and a profound source of inspiration as it encourages me to stride further in my commitment to educational excellence and national development,” he said.
“I am indeed grateful that my service to this great nation, ranging from my humble beginnings in the Provincial Administration, is getting recognized in a great way. It is with a profound sense of duty and optimism that I promise to live up to the expectations of this honorary doctoral degree,” he added.
The nominated MP pledged to champion policies that ensure Peace and Harmony prevail at any cost, inclusive, and forward-looking.
“My focus will be on nurturing critical thinking, innovation, and skills development to prepare our youth for the challenges and effective Leadership. Congratulations to my fellow graduates; class of 2024,” he wrote.
