Parliamentary Committee on Health Visits MTRH
The Parliamentary Committee on Health today 2nd February 2023 visited Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) on a familiarization tour.
The Committee led by Chair Hon. (Dr.) Robert Pukose included; Hon. Maina Mathenge, Hon. Odongo Oron, Hon. Martin Owino, and Hon. Julius Sunkuli.
The Health Committee looked at areas of support such as personnel requirements, infrastructural development and financial allocation.
Ag. Hospital CEO Dr. Philip Kirwa thanked the Committee for the continued support extended to MTRH.
The Committee was impressed by the quality services offered at MTRH; noting that it is living up to its True North – leading to its mandate of Excellent Healthcare Delivery.
The Ag. CEO led the Committee on an extensive tour of the Hospital and inspection of projects.
