Nairobi Women Rep Joins NCPWD & USAID for the launch of the Disability Landscape Analysis Report
Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris on Monday Joined NCPWD & USAID for the launch of the Disability Landscape Analysis Report, which provides an invaluable account of policies, programs, and challenges faced by persons with disabilities in 13 counties. One key finding: many PWDs are unaware of the tax exemptions available to them. To exacerbate matters, the reapplication process every 5 years sometimes results in denial. We truly must do more to drive #DisabilityInclusion.
