Kelvin Kiptum Finaly Laid to Rest
World Marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum laid to rest at his Lotonyok farm in Naiberi, Uasin Gishu County.
Kenyan President William Ruto, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Chief Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, Kiptum’s family and fellow athletes were among the dignitaries.
Kiptum, was killed in a road accident near Eldoret town in western Kenya on Sunday night.
Kiptum was in the company of his Rwandan coach Garbes Hakizimana who was also killed.
