Senate Committee on Land Together With Targeted Stakeholders Considers Pending Bills
The Senate Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources Chaired by Nyandarua Senator John Methu, today held a meeting with Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development Hon. Alice Wahome, Principal Secretary Ministry of Environment and Forestry Eng. Festus Ng’eno, Council of Governors represented by Kisumu Governor H.E Prof. Peter Anyang’Nyong’o and other Stakeholders to deliberate on Bills that are pending before the Committee.
Lawmakers together with targeted stakeholders deliberated on the Real Estate Regulation Bill (Senate Bill no. 35 of 2023), National Rating Bill, 2022 (National Assembly Bill No. 55 of 2022) and Meteorology Bill, 2023 (Senate Bills No. 45 of 20230).
Other legislators in attendance were, Sen. Agnes Kavindu, Sen. Wahome Wamatinga, Sen. Beatrice Ogolla, Sen. Johnes Mwaruma and Sen. Mariam omar.
