Education CO Urges ECDE Teachers to be Creative and Visionary

ECDE teachers have been challenged to be creative and visionary.

Education Chief Officer Marion Birgen has also told the teachers to develop strategies that will enable them to handle emerging issues and special cases for their learners.

She made the comments on Tuesday during a meeting with the teachers at the Karuna/Meibeki ward in Moiben Sub County.

“The child you teach is the trophy that you take home,” said CO who also asked that they should be professional at their work when handling learners for good results.

In addition, the Chief Officer advised them to make a positive contribution to the environment and be ambassadors of Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii Chelilim EGH and his Government.

She also urged the teachers to be available anytime to be helpful to the children and take advantage of the good environment that the county has put them in which includes modern classrooms and the school milk program.

The teachers also thanked the Governor for introducing the school milk program to ECDE learners across the county.
