Chief Officer for Public Service Management Mr. Ambrose Tarus on Monday addressed over 1000 attachees during their induction at the County Hall.

Tarus emphasised the need for practicality, urging the newcomers to embrace the dynamic structures of the county government with open minds and a readiness to learn.

“Expect the unexpected,” Tarus advised, emphasizing the importance of flexibility and adaptability in navigating the complexities of public service. “Know that your true character is revealed in the unseen moments.”

Director of Planning and Administration Philip Biwott commented on the significance of personal presentation and professionalism. “Respect yourself, embody confidence, and be actively engaged,” Biwott urged.

Director Branding and Public Relations Faith Seroney then delved into effective communication, imparting the seven C’s as guiding principles.

“Customer satisfaction is paramount,” Seroney stressed, emphasizing the pivotal role of excellent service in fostering positive relationships.

Encouraging the attachees to cultivate their unique personal brands, Seroney emphasized the importance of how they present themselves, communicate, and interact with others.
