Bishop Kieru: Kenyans are Brother’s/ Sister’s Keeper
The Apostolic Bishop of the Kenya Assemblies of God Nyahururu District Bishop Simon Kieru has lauded the fraternal brotherly – sisterly spirit demonstrated by Kenyans.
The Man of God, urged Kenyans to always follow and practice what the Bible teaches on good neighborliness.
Taking the case of the recent floods catastrophe, that claimed 290 lives, Bishop Kieru expressed his joy in the way Kenyans came togther with a show of solidarity. Most Kenyans responded immediately, giving their brothers and sisters help in terms of dry foodstuffs, beddings, alternative shelter and so on.
This, The Bishop noted, is aligned with the Mantra, Motto and Spirit of our National Anthem, especially the phrase that goes: “natukae na undugu amani na uhuru, raha tupate na ustawi.”
