Residents of Moisbridge Ward Praise MCA Bishop Patrick Kimeli for Outstanding Leadership
Residents of Moisbridge Ward have expressed their appreciation for the leadership of their Member of County Assembly (MCA), Bishop Patrick Kimeli. His inclusive and transparent approach has garnered widespread support, setting a new standard compared to previous administrations.
“Bishop Kimeli is serving everyone regardless of his political or tribal affiliation, which has not been the norm with the last administration,” a resident remarked. This sentiment echoes throughout the community as more residents come forward to share their positive experiences under his leadership.
One staunch supporter highlighted the impact on education, stating, “I can say without fear of contradiction that this is the first time I am receiving a bursary for my child. I used to apply but in vain, but with Bishop’s leadership, my child is now in school.”
John Kamau, another resident, praised the inclusivity and transparency of Kimeli’s leadership. “Our roads are now being opened in all areas, youths are being empowered, women and orphan groups are being financed. What else do you need from a leader? In the other years, we were just seeing them in videos, but now we feel the leadership,” Kamau said.
Bishop Patrick Kimeli’s commitment to equitable development has also been acknowledged. “Issuance of bursaries is now transparent, unlike before when they were only given to relatives and friends. Now, there is equality in terms of development in all wards,” Mary, another resident, commented.
Residents also appreciate Bishop Kimeli’s accessibility and responsiveness. “Last time I lost my close relative, I called Bishop and he helped me to give him a befitting send-off. He never refuses to take your call even if he doesn’t know you,” shared another Moisbridge Ward resident.
Reflecting on the future, residents are optimistic about Kimeli’s continued leadership. “In our Ward, we have never elected an MCA for two terms, but this time around Bishop will serve for over two terms, not because of his tribe, but because of the work he is doing for us,” a resident confidently stated.
With widespread support and tangible improvements in the ward, Bishop Patrick Kimeli’s leadership is setting a new benchmark for what effective and inclusive governance can achieve in Moisbridge Ward.
