At only 17, Lamine Yamal is a superstar in the making, breaking records left and right. During the recent Euro championship, he did amazing things! He scored a goal, helped teammates score (assisted), and even played in more games than any other young player ever at the Euros. This record-breaking didn’t stop after the Euros.

For his club, Barcelona, Yamal is also the youngest player to ever play in the big game against Real Madrid, called El Clásico. But he’s not just there to play – he can score too! He’s the youngest player to ever score a goal in the Spanish league while playing for Barcelona. He’s also really good at setting up teammates to score (assisting) – again, the youngest ever at Barcelona to do that.
Yamal isn’t just good for a few games here and there. He’s played in more official games for Barcelona than any other player his age ever has. That’s 50 games, which is a lot! He even played in a really important Champions League game, the youngest player ever to do that for Barcelona.

Yamal’s not just breaking club records, he’s changing the game in the whole Spanish league. He scored two goals in one game (a brace) at a younger age than anyone else ever in the league’s history. His talent is so clear that he was chosen as one of the top 3 young players in all of Europe for an award called the Golden Boy. And guess what? He’s the youngest player ever to be chosen for that award too!

Lamine Yamal is more than just records. He’s a super talented player with a bright future.
