In a significant address delivered at Our Lady of Glory Kaptagat Girls High School in Elgeyo Marakwet, President William Ruto has called on Kenyans to unite in the pursuit of national progress. This appeal for solidarity comes just two days after the President dismissed his entire cabinet, signaling a new direction for his administration.

President Ruto began his speech by acknowledging the efforts of his previous cabinet members over the past two years. He reassured the nation that the forthcoming cabinet will be instrumental in guiding Kenya to new heights. “I have spoken clearly and loudly that it’s a moment that people of Kenya must come together as a nation, because the success of this country cannot be derailed,” Ruto declared.

Emphasizing the importance of collective effort, President Ruto outlined his vision for a unified Kenya where every citizen is included in the government’s plans. He committed to engaging leaders from across the country to foster a spirit of inclusivity and collaboration. “I consult all leaders; let’s unite and make sure that the government we are going to create will include every Kenyan, for the success of our country,” Ruto said. He emphasized that the success of Kenya is intrinsically linked to the success of its people.

Ruto’s call for unity was echoed by key government officials who accompanied him to the event, including Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. Their presence underscored a unified front in supporting the President’s vision for a more cohesive and forward-looking Kenya.
