Mr. Amos Momanyi Mugusu and Mr. Moses Ogembo, who were arrested earlier this week for allegedly handling a phone belonging to Roselyne Akoth Ogongo, one of the victims in the Kware murder case, appeared before the Madaraka Law Courts today. The court has granted a 28-day custodial order for the investigators to complete their probe into the ongoing murder investigation.

In a related development, a team of homicide detectives, working in conjunction with Crime Scene Investigators (CSI), revisited the residence of Collins Jumahisi Khalusha in Mukuru kwa Njenga. During the search, authorities recovered several crucial pieces of evidence from the premises.

Among the items collected were a bloodstained pillowcase, a t-shirt with bloodstains, a hammer with visible bloodstains, pliers covered in blood, three knives (one of which was bloodstained), and a pair of bloodstained scissors. These items are being analyzed as part of the investigation into the brutal murder of Roselyne Akoth Ogongo.

The house where the items were found, along with the site where the victim’s body was discovered, remain active crime scenes as forensic teams continue to gather evidence. Investigators are working diligently to piece together the details of the case and identify those responsible for the murder.

The case has drawn significant public attention, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in the investigation.

As the investigation progresses, more details are expected to emerge, and the court will review the status of the suspects’ detention at the end of the 28-day period.
