In a vibrant ceremony held at APS Headquarters, Jogoo House ‘A’, Mr. Gilbert Masengeli, MBS, OGW, SS, officially assumed the role of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Administration Police Service (APS).

The transition of leadership follows his swearing-in on July 25, 2024, at the Supreme Court, where he and Kenya Police counterpart Mr. Eliud Lagat took their oaths before Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Hon. Martha Koome.

In his address to the press, DIG Masengeli expressed profound gratitude to President Dr. William S. Ruto for the appointment and for the successful vetting by the National Police Service Commission.
