Busia Governor Supports Nambale Boys High School After Dormitory Fire
In a show of solidarity and support, Busia Governor H.E. Dr. Paul Otuoma has rallied behind Nambale Boys High School following a devastating fire that destroyed one of the school’s dormitories yesterday.
The fire consumed the dormitory, including students’ books and personal belongings, but thankfully no lives were lost.
The timing of the incident is particularly challenging, as it comes during the crucial third term for Form Four students preparing for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE). The loss has been a significant setback for the students and the entire school community.
This afternoon, Governor Otuoma visited the school to assess the damage firsthand. During the visit, the County Government pledged its support to help the affected students recover swiftly. In an immediate response, the County has donated mattresses to the students to ensure their comfort as they transition back into their academic routine.
