Strengthening Partnerships in Dual Training: A Collaborative Visit at TENP

Yesterday, Charles Koech, Chief Principal of TENP, welcomed a distinguished delegation to foster partnerships in dual training initiatives. The meeting featured Mary Koigi from SDTVET, Jeniffer Githinji from GIZ, and representatives from Brahe Educational Centre and Kainuu Vocational College in Finland.

The visit marked the beginning of a mentorship journey focused on enhancing dual training programs, a critical area for skills development in the region. The discussions highlighted mutual interests and the potential for collaboration in vocational education and training.

Also in attendance were the Deputy Principal of Academics, the Deputy Industrial Liaison Officer, and Heads of Departments overseeing the implementation of dual programs. Together, they explored strategies to strengthen the educational framework and align training with industry needs.

This collaborative effort aims to improve vocational training standards and provide students with valuable hands-on experience, preparing them for the demands of the workforce. The partnership underscores a commitment to excellence in education and skill development, benefiting both students and the broader community.
