Hon. Emaase Champions Education Development in Teso South
Teso South Member of Parliament, Hon. Mary Emaase, has reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing education in her constituency through a series of strategic initiatives. Known for her dedication and results-driven approach, Hon. Emaase recently presided over the commissioning of a Ksh 10 million project at St. Paul’s Amukura High School, aimed at improving the learning environment for students.
In her remarks, Hon. Emaase highlighted the importance of education as an “equalizer” and emphasized her goal of mobilizing resources to facilitate smooth learning experiences. The newly approved project includes the construction of a 250-capacity dormitory, six classrooms, science laboratories, and 60-door washrooms, with construction set to commence shortly.
Additionally, Hon. Emaase announced plans to upgrade the school’s dining hall to modern standards and provide furnishings to enhance the students’ dining experience. She also expressed her commitment to sponsoring deserving students within the community, ensuring that education remains accessible to all.
“The story of St. Paul’s Amukura is just one of many initiatives I am undertaking to empower education across our schools,” Hon. Emaase stated. “Through strategic infrastructure and educational support initiatives, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our youth.”
