On this Mazingira Day Dr Boaz Cheluget made a passionate call to all Kenyans to take good care of the environment and most importantly protect our environment from harmful practices that threaten our biodiversity.
Dr. Cheluget urged every Kenyan to see to it that they plant and grow at least ten trees to resonate with today’s date 10 of October
Dr. Cheluget’s golden piece of advice come at a time when the Globe has set its eyes wide open after coming face to face with the gleam reality of climate change.
So dire is the climate change that it’s no longer hypothetical but a reality that we have to live with.
Climate change is so real that we are witnessing rising temperatures, erratic weather patterns, a prolonged cold spell not forgetting the recent flash floods that claimed scores of people.
