Eldoret National Polytechnic Town Campus Teams Request More Facilities During Principal’s Cup
Eldoret National Polytechnic’s Principal’s Cup is entering its fourth day, and officials from the City Campus, along with team leaders, are calling for enhanced facilities to support their athletic endeavors.
Following a thrilling victory in the men’s football match against the Business Department, Town Campus Chairman Felix Omondi expressed his gratitude to Chief Principal Charles Koech for his support of sports initiatives at the campus. However, he highlighted the urgent need for a dedicated training field.
“I’m very impressed with our team’s performance despite the challenges we’ve faced due to a lack of training facilities,” Omondi stated. “While the principal has organized resources for our participation in this tournament, it would be greatly beneficial if we could gain access to the nearby field.”
The call for better facilities was echoed by Joseph Momanyi, a key player who scored during the match. He emphasized the importance of having a designated training ground for the Town Campus teams.
“We truly need a field. Just imagine how well we could perform if we had a proper training space,” Momanyi said. “We request a field and additional equipment for all our teams, assuring the Chief Principal that we are determined to win this tournament.”
As the tournament progresses, the Town Campus community remains hopeful that their requests will be met, paving the way for even greater success in future competitions.
