The Eldoret National Polytechnic basketball team is poised for success as they prepare for the upcoming Kenya Association Technical Training Institute (KATTI) regional games. The competition will take place next week at Kitale National Polytechnic.

Team captain Elias Lukusi expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, highlighting the intensive training they have undergone in recent weeks. “We are fully prepared and expecting only a win,” Lukusi stated during a recent interview. He also extended gratitude to the school administration for their support in providing essential equipment, including basketballs and jerseys.

However, Lukusi made a heartfelt request for a coach to further enhance their preparations. “We are requesting a coach to finalize our training. Everything is in place except for that,” he emphasized. “Otherwise, we promise to deliver a victory for our school.”

In addition to basketball, Eldoret National Polytechnic will also send teams to compete in hockey, volleyball, and handball, both for men and women, making it a significant representation in various sports disciplines at the regional level. The teams are determined to showcase their skills and bring home accolades for the institution.
