Eldoret National Polytechnic Teams Gear Up for KATTI Games with Strong Administrative Support
As preparations intensify for the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institute (KATTI) games, officials from Eldoret National Polytechnic have expressed gratitude for the immense support provided by the institution.
The polytechnic, which hosted the national KATTI games earlier this year, will be sending teams for hockey, handball, rugby, and volleyball to compete at Kitale National Polytechnic for the North Rift regional games.
Rugby coach Elias Mwange praised the administration for its commitment to the teams, ensuring they have all necessary resources for successful training. “The school has supported us with everything useful for our training, and we promise to bring the trophy home,” Mwange stated, encouraging players to respect their opponents.
Rugby captain Jeremy Irongo shared optimism for an improved performance compared to last year, where the team secured third place. He emphasized the significance of the administration’s support in their preparations. “We are grateful for the management’s assistance, which has made our practice sessions successful,” Irongo noted.
Senior handball captain Brian Ben highlighted the impact of recent friendly matches on their training. “The administration has facilitated these matches, and our team is now ready. We believe we can bring the trophy home,” Ben said.
With strong backing from the administration, the Eldoret National Polytechnic teams are poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming KATTI games.
